Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Volcanoes National park with a city tour.

After breakfast from your location, be ready for a pick up by our company representative for a short city tour around Kigali with streetlights and suburbs. You will visit the Genocide and former presidential palace and later have lunch. After solving hunger problems, set off to Volcanoes National park and check in at the reserved lodge for dinner and retire for a night.

Day 2: Climb Mt. Karisimbi.

Wake up early enough for a morning grab and transfer to the park headquarters at Kinigi for briefing and registration with packed lunch. Later, you will be assigned guides and a ranger who will lead you to the summit and commence at exactly 10:00 am with your hiking sticks together with the chef and porters. The hike will take you through various sections like bamboo, calderas, and steep areas among others. As you are about to reach the summit, you will make a stopover at an altitude of 3700 m for rest, dinner and overnight camp.

Day 3: Hike to the top, descend and depart.

Have early morning breakfast and climb up to the peak of Mount Karisimbi with fascinating views of the summit calling for a photography session. Later, you will descend the mountain to the camp and relax as you wait for lunch prepared by our chefs. After lunch, you will continue to descend the mountain and meet the driver guide at the base for a transfer back to the cleanest city. End of the safari.
